Recent updates from the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) regarding presumptive marijuana testing rules have been posted.
Following the passage of HB 4121 by the 2024 Oregon Legislature, the ODA has filed temporary rules to address the need for distinguishing between marijuana and industrial hemp plants. Under HB 4121, the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission (OLCC) and ODA are mandated to develop rules that establish testing criteria and cannabinoid concentrations that differentiate immature or mature cannabis plants as either marijuana or industrial hemp.
