Oregon Psilocybin Services (OPS) has published the final copy of the 2024 amended and adopted rules necessary to implement the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act: Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) Chapter 333, Division 333: Psilocybin.
The Hearings Officer Report summarizes comments and testimony received during the October 2024 public comment period on the Proposed Rules for Psilocybin in Oregon. Sixty-eight written comments were received, and several public hearings were held during this period. These comments helped to refine further and revise the proposed rules, which have now been adopted as final and will become effective on January 1, 2025.
The rules are on the OPS Administrative Rules webpage and will be effective January 1, 2025.
OPS plans to hold public listening sessions each summer and open administrative rules for public comment every fall as part of the ongoing refinement of the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act implementation. For more details about the rulemaking process, visit the OPS Administrative Rules webpage.
